There’s A Kink For That

During a retreat, last spring over the eclipse, I coined a new catchphrase and it led me on a path to create this counter culture sub space for oddities and things that entertain and delight. A fun and light hearted take on sex and finding that “There’s A Kink For That.”

Being a kid of the 90s I remember shows on HBO after dark and also Real Sex. There were episodes each week to discuss the things that were too taboo to talk about during the day. I wanted to create that same energy now. 

In today’s reality being a woman and also an advocate for promoting intimacy and embodying the pinup spirit just selling some prints and shirts with funny and sexy phrases that get us talking about sex and There’s A Kink For That.

This space is a safe zone free of kink shaming and promoting a healthy dialogue. In doing some research online wink wink and also just real time, I found out the kinks & fetishes are actually classified by psychiatrists to describe people deviations from the norm. So, delving deep into topics each week as we explore There’s A Kink For That is a way to get us talking to our partners. 

Historically, society has not always created a safe zone for this some of these deviations being labeled as reasons for people to be institutionalized or shunned. So, it’s awesome the in today’s society we are able to share that the things that are taboo are fun to explore with our partners. It’s great that we have grown past some of the stigma that surrounds sex.

The best thing we can do is be open with our wants and desires with our partners. Glad that this store promotes such a vibe and way of life for others to connect and fun in their adult time. Consent is the most sexy thing we can give.
